Firstly, I want to welcome the 28 new members that signed up for MDBirding
during February. We've now officially passed the 700 mark! As promised,
I'll be sending out a link to the group guidelines once a month. While
mostly for new members, I do also want to take this opportunity to send a
much-needed reminder for one of the guidelines -* Signatures!*

The guideline reads as follows:
*1) Use a signature block with your full name and geographic location at
the end of your email such as*

I know we can all forget occasionally, but please try to remember to sign
you posts. For those new to birding listservs, it has been a long-standing
tradition to not only include your name, but also your geographic location.
The location helps because it gives readers some sense of where you are if
you post '"siskins at my feeder!". It can also help other members remember *
who* you are, especially for those folks that have very similar names.
