Tim Schreckengost has a nice blog post about the Crested Caracara seen in DE today. Here's the link: http://www.thermalbirding.com/2013/03/derare-crested-caracara/
In the post he says, "At least a few birders have seen this bird since it was first discovered around 9:30 this morning. It seems that if you find a carcass in the general vicinity of the Bay Forest community and White Necks Rd. you have a good shot of seeing the bird."
Perhaps Mark H. or some other Worcester birder could strategically place a few dead rats along the road, sort of like breadcrumbs, to entice the bird to come into MD. Just a thought.
