Subject: [MDBirding] Bullock's - YES and other Harford birding

Josh Emm and I successfully saw the BULLOCK'S ORIOLE today. It appeared at the suet feeder at 10:50 this morning and remained for about 5 minutes. It was not seen again while we were there. There was also a single Tree Swallow which, according to Dennis, is the first he has had at his house this year. Many thanks to Dennis Kirkwood for his hospitality and a great bird!

Josh and I also had a large flock of HORNED LARK on Harford Creamery Rd. We tried for crossbills off of Pleasantville Rd. but did not find any. Conowingo Dam had nothing unexpected, although notable was a fairly large raft of around 25 BUFFLEHEAD. We ended the day at Les Eastman's house. The redpoll was not relocated, but the RUFOUS HUMMINGBIRD was present and offered very nice looks. Thanks to Les for his hospitality.
