Hey everyone,

I took a walk around the central section of E.A. Vaughn WMA today. The marshes were quite flooded.

Tundra Swan -- 16
Wood Duck -- 27
Gadwall -- 5
American Wigeon -- 13
American Black Duck -- 6
Mallard -- 8
Northern Shoveler -- 12
Northern Pintail -- 3
Green-winged Teal -- 60 (est.)
Bufflehead -- 4

Land birding held the expected species with 15 Brown Thrashers being notable. No Pine Warblers seen or heard.

Other notable sightings included a Mourning Cloak and two Azure sp?
