Raptor Observations:
Nice flight of Red-shouldered Hawks. An adult Peregrine Falcon heading north was more likely a local resident.

Non-raptor Observations:
Two large rafts of Greater Scaup, numbering 1600 in all�- didn't have time to check thoroughly for Lesser Scaup among them.� Several Red-bellied Turtles basking yesterday and today.

Site Description
Fort Smallwood Park is located on the western shore of Chesapeake Bay at the
mouth of the Patapsco River, 11 miles south of Baltimore, MD. Best winds are
from the southwest. The Park is closed to visitors on Wednesdays.
