Sunday March 10, at 2.30pm. The male Eurasian Wigeon was together with a group of ~400 Coots, 12 American Wigeons, and 25 Ring-necked Ducks at Loch Raven Reservoir. Also in the area were 32 Redheads.
Directions 1: Park at Loch Raven Skeet & Trap Center. Take the fire road at the end of the parking lot. Take a right at the T-junction. Walk half a mile until you see the water on the right hand side. This is the place.
Directions 2: It should also be possible to park at the pullout on Dulaney Valley Rd between the Fishing Center and the Skeet & Trap Center and then walk down to the water. Bird should be to the left.
