On my lunch break while working at home today, I noticed the first-of-season chipping sparrow, feeding at our feeders. I base the "fos" observation on it being in full breeding plumage, and every year I seem to notice my fos CHSP at our feeders!. It is in full breeding plumage, a beauty. Last year's fos was my earliest ever (3-6-12), so this one is not very close.
