Oh my, I also have this "affliction"! I can't tell you how many times I have been out in the alley behind my office in the Palisades looking at warblers or, in the summer, butterflies... The principals at my firm would prefer I show up for our management meetings, but they DO let me bring my binocs so I can duck out for a quick birding fix!
