Subject: [MDBirding] Red-Breasted Nuthatch, West Laurel

The past couple of days have been good for FeederWatch birds here in West
Laurel (PG County), with today's highlight being our first RED-BREASTED
NUTHATCH of the season, sampling various feeders. Also today, somewhat
unusual were 2 SONG SPARROWS. Yesterday's highlights included
YELLOW-BELLIED SAPSUCKER (not seen since early winter), EASTERN BLUEBIRD
(maybe checking out nest boxes), YELLOW-RUMPED WARBLER (at the sapsucker
holes; also today), and EASTERN TOWHEE (male -- we have yet to see a
female this season).
