Subject: [MDBirding] Little Gull and Black-headed Gull Pictures plus info


Hi all. Here are the pictures of the Little Gull and the Black-headed Gull just encase you decide to chase them you will have a better idea what plumage they are in.

As Matt had said before they were primarily hanging around the Cecil County side but occasionally would wander over to the other side. The north end of Port Deposit there is a long floating pier. The pier must churn up the macros and ichthyoplankton because the gulls are heavily feeding from that area plus the Black headed Gull would some times rest on the dock itself. If you go to Port Deposit, go turn down into the post office. There is a restaurant that is closed down. I parked their and walked down there for great viewing. On the waters edge there is a public pathway as well.
