A red-headed woodpecker with immature plumage was feeding on the ground in
front of the CHESPAX office at King's Landing Park in Huntingtown. RHWO is
always a good bird in Calvert County (apart from Calvert Cliffs SP) and
observed only a few times here in KLP over the past 20 years.
Also present at the feeders this AM was a FOS chipping sparrow.
