Mark Hoffman just texted me a few minutes ago that he refound a Little Gull, age & plumage unknown at that time at Diamond Point flats. I think he was texted from park and ride on east side of Rt 150 bridge. Other viewing area: ONE the flats near N end of diamond point rd before overpass (over 695) by the savebackriver.org sign. If employees are there, let them know you're there for the rare gulls. If no one there, you're ok to go in. Do not wander off to any other private property on either side of the entrance area. TWO: north on diamond point from rt 150, park at the vacant mall on left and walk a cross street to the woods area. THREE: Island Point Rd behind Royal Farms and park away from the restaurant, new owner don't want anyone to park next to the restaurant.
Also do not walk around the car/boat lot fenced area as we lost access after some birders wander there w/o permission some time ago. We once had a letter of permission, now no more.
