Yesterday I enjoyed a very productive waterfowl search in Garrett,
Allegany and Washington counties. I'll post more as soon as I get data into eBird,
but some highlights included 5 flyover TUNDRA SWANS and displaying
AMERICAN WOODCOCK at Finzel, 1 female COMMON GOLDENEYE and GADWALL at Piney
Reservoir, a pair of REDHEAD near Oakland, GADWALL, HORNED GREBE and WILSON'S
SNIPE (or was it??) at Broadfording Lake, and 3 NORTHERN SHOVELLERS at Rocky
Gap along with GADWALL and more HORNED GREBES. Also one continuing RB
NUTHATCH at Rocky Gap.
