Raptor Observations:
Nine species today. Northern Harrier was an adult male.

Non-raptor Observations:
79 Horned Grebes; 17 Bonaparte's Gulls; Blue-winged Teal, Green-winged Teal, Gadwall, Northern Shoveler continue on the pond with a brief visit of 3 Ring-necked Ducks; first butterfly of the season: a Mourning Cloak headed north.

Site Description
Fort Smallwood Park is located on the western shore of Chesapeake Bay at the
mouth of the Patapsco River, 11 miles south of Baltimore, MD. Best winds are
from the southwest. The Park is closed to visitors on Wednesdays.
