The earliest Cattle Egret record I have for Anne Arundel County is Mar.
22, 1977 at Sandy Point by Hal Wierenga. One seen in Baltimore on Cabin
Branch on Mar. 16, 1980 by Jim Stasz, myself, and others while visiting the
old Pennington Avenue Landfill, and only a couple hundred yards from the
county line (ADC map 3E6), had certainly passed through Anne Arundel and
other counties.
