Yesterday I was at Potomac Airfield in the early afternoon waiting while my nephew took a one hour plane ride. In addition to the many vultures, there was one common raven that soared over the field without ever flapping its wings. The bird was black, clearly not a vulture, and had a textbook example of the wedge-shaped raven's tail.
