Subject: [MDBirding] Easter Birding

I just spent 30 minutes at a business park (across from CarMax in White Marsh) to check out some birds on this rainy day. I was surprised to see a Northern Harrier just as I arrived. I drove around the back and saw 1....then 2 American Kestrels sitting in the tree (2 trees about 50 yards apart from each other). Shortly after, the 2nd one flew over the field and hovered for awhile, apparently searching for an Easter meal. Also, while watching two American Robins sitting in a tree, a Northern Flicker paid them a visit. Aside from a few Starlings, a few Mockingbirds and a few Red-Winged Blackbirds, I saw 3 turkey vultures sitting in another tree.

Happy Easter!
