Subject: Crossbills- Yes. Tundra Swans-No

Hi Mdbirders, I'm a visiting birder and spent a couple of hours looking
for the above in Frederick co at the Resthaven cemetery and the fields
around Burkittsville. Thank you to the previous posters! We didn't see the
Red Crossbill but it started raining shortly after we found the White-wings
and I actually have seen one in Louisiana. We drove around the fields of
Burkittsville for an hour or so looking for the Tundra Swans with no luck.
No other obvious migrants with the exception of some ducks in a couple of
ponds. To the poster who heard the Peewee, hang in there. My guess would
be an Eastern Phoebe. Check out xeno-canto.org it's a huge database for
recordings. The first one of the Phoebe is Peewee-esque.
Good Birding,
Eric
