Matt Anthony reports success on chasing the pelicans! If you go down St. James Road and the gate to the environmental center is open, make sure you check in at the house to let them know you're there. Otherwise, if they leave, you might get locked in.

Subject: [MDBirding] American White Pelicans in St. Mary's
There are three white pelicans on the pound nets to the north of the�Elms Environmental Education Center. �I first saw them from Elms �Beach Park, then got a slightly better look from the education center.
