Around noon today, 4/3, the Black-crowned Night Heron was just where it was last week, at the base of the aqueduct bridge, on the north side of Seneca Creek. The river was pretty devoid of bird life (I saw none of those Horned Grebes) but there were a pair of Blue-winged Teal in the turning basin.
