I was doing some exploring at the Journey North web site ( http://www.learner.org/jnorth/ ). In particular I was interested in seeing the difference in the Ruby-throat migration for last year and this year. Check out the animated maps at these two sites:
2013: http://www.learner.org/jnorth/maps/humm_ruby_spring2013.html
2012: http://www.learner.org/jnorth/maps/galleries/2012/humm_ruby_an_spring2012.html
Rather amazing how they adapt to the weather and not to other migration factors.
