I went back to Oxbow yesterday and learned how to make Snipe come to me.
Thanks Hugh J. Saw at least 30 but today I was too busy shooting at the
critical times to count.
Also a very cooperative Winter Wren, which Hugh already mentioned in his
report. Winter Wren have previously evaded my lens but I made a point of
finding one before they migrate out for the season.
It was a pleasure to meet Hugh and Emily, and later Marcy Stutzman and Jay
Sheppard. My list of birders seen was longer than the birds! The latest
images are the last 13 at the end of this growing gallery.
