Siskins have been at our Chevy Chase feeder all winter, eight at one time yesterday and three right now. I never saw them before last year. Thought they would be winter visitors but now they're jostling the bright goldfinches and the red-faced house finches for a place at the feeder. Shouldn't they be on their way back north?
