On a walk around my Eastport neighborhood this evening, we had our first Purple Martin sighting of the year, at least 8 birds flying overhead in the vicinity of several Purple Martin houses that were active last year. Also had one Tree Swallow. Half a dozen Lesser Scaup and a couple Buffleheads still hanging out.
