Subject: [MDBirding] FOS Palm Warbler & Mourning Cloak in NW Branch Park

Hi all,

Just a quick note that we took our dogs for a walk in Northwest Branch Park (between Randolph Rd. and Bonifant Rd., Mont. Co.) and were rewarded with our FOS PALM WARBLER -- a bright yellow individual -- as well as great looks at a MOURNING CLOAK which seemed annoyed that we were walking along the path, making several close passes at us with rapid wingbeats. Other sightings of interest included an Eastern Phoebe and several Eastern Bluebirds, as well as a calling Red-shouldered Hawk. Otherwise just the usual suspects...
