Weather:
Mostly sunny at the start becoming partly to mostly cloudy; 44-68 degrees; good visibility; winds strong mostly from the south, 7-15 mph, gusting to 24 mph

Raptor Observations:
A delightful day with eleven species and a steady flight from start to finish. However, with the strong southerly winds and sometimes blue skies, birds were high, fast flying, and a challenge to find. Thankfully, our crew was up to the task. Highlights were the good numbers of Northern Harriers, Sharp-shinned Hawks, and American Kestrels

Non-raptor Observations:
First Laughing Gull of the season; 21 Great Blue Herons, most flying north; 7 Common Loons; over 70 Double-crested Cormorants flying north in small groups; probably 200 tree Swallows
