As I'm sitting at the computer, I'm hearing a barred owl calling not far away in Sligo Creek. This is the 4th time in the last 3 weeks or so. March 17 at 12:30 am, March 19 about 4 am when I happened to wake up and heard it, March 27 at 8 pm as I was coming home from the grocery store after work, and now tonight. Seems to have stopped now, or moved --- nope, there it goes again!
