Subject: [MDBirding] New arrivals of the non bird kind....
My first two Common Green Darners of the year at Meadowbrook Park in Howard County. (first for the state I believe)
I also had numerous Palm Warblers, Northern Rough-wing Swallow and a Great Egret. Not much could top my first Ode of the year but this Queen Snake did her best! http://flic.kr/p/e9N1Dc

Spent the morning on the Potomac at Point of Rocks were we had around two dozen Rusty Blackbirds, a singing Louisiana Waterthrush......two Horned Grebes down further at Landers.

A Red-breasted Nuthatch on my feeder was a nice treat

Spring is finally here!!!
