Tim (and others who may be curious),
The eBird filter for Spotted Sandpiper in Harford County will kick up to 5 on April 10th. I think of it as a pretty good bird in the first week of April. Looking at eBird, your birds today are the earliest record for Harford County. I also saw they were reported from two other locations in MD, so obviously there was a small movement of them. Great find!
