The radar looks promising for birds tonight so I decided to listen outside for a bit this evening. My house is fairly poor for nocturnal migrant listening, but I didn't feel like driving somewhere better. I was rewarded with an American Bittern! Another new yard bird! I first heard it to the south so I ran in to get Kim and we were able to hear it again to the north.
Might be even more migrants around tomorrow!
