Subject: [MDBirding] Yard migrants, recent arrivals
Morning all,
New arrivals yesterday included a flock of 5 Double-crested Cormorants flying by heading NE, followed by another of 6 heading the same way, Tree Swallows flying by in the AM, and a single Common Loon flyby headed due north. The adult White-crowned Sparrow is still present and feeding outside our sliding door, in the side yard. Still seeing lots of juncos, and Chipping Sparrows are very common in the yard now.

Today, new arrivals include a few Savannah Sparrows feeding in the grass in the yard, along with many Chippies, and juncos. A single Barn Swallow flew by, and Tree Swallows were seen too. A pair of Ring-necked Ducks are still on the pond,a single Sharp-shinned Hawk flew over heading NE, and a Cooper's Hawk flew over heading south.

That's it so far...
