Barry and I took the dogs for a walk in mid-afternoon along Paint Branch upstream of Randolph Rd. Not too much activity (no sign of last year's LA Waterthrush, for example) but we did enjoy three FOS Broadwinged Hawks soaring overhead. One had a bit of an skirmish with an annoyed Red-shouldered but ended up chasing the larger bird off. The only other birds of interest was a FOS singing male Blue-headed Vireo and 1-2 Gnatcatchers.
