Weather:
Partly cloudy becoming mostly cloudy and then back to partly cloudy; 53-63
degrees; fair visibility becoming excellent; winds westerly 3-15 mph,
gusting to 25 mph

Raptor Observations:
Steady flight throughout the day with 12 species represented. �Courting
Cooper's Hawks and Ospreys, and 2 adult Bald Eagles giving a spirited
aerial display.

Non-raptor Observations:
Three terns new for the season: Forster's, Royal, and Least; Caspian Tern
made it a 4-tern day; about 20 Horned Grebes; Sora; about 15 Blue-gray Gnatcatchers

Site Description:
Fort Smallwood Park is located on the western shore of Chesapeake Bay at
the mouth of the Patapsco River, 11 miles south of Baltimore, MD. Best
winds are from the southwest. The Park is closed to visitors on Wednesdays.
