Hi all,
I had time for a brief walk at Lake Artemesia in PG county this morning. Of interest were 4 Caspian Terns flying around, diving, and calling from about 740 to 815. Also on the lake were a Horned Grebe and a Common Loon, both in breeding plumage and close to the path, just asking to be photographed. Green Heron and Chimney Swifts were personal first-of-year birds.
best,
Jared Fisher Bethesda, MD
