Thanks to Dan's earlier post I rushed to Dumbarton Oaks right after work. While I didn't find any warblers, waxwings, thrashers, or the Baltimore Oriole, I was delighted to spot a Vesper Sparrow, Field Sparrow, and my FOS Wood Thrush, singing loudly right in the center of the park along the main trail starting at about 5:45. According to eBird this is the first report of a Wood Thrush in DC this year.
