Sandy Sagalkin asked me to post his message about the Potomac Valley Audubon Society (PVAS) walk at Snavely's Ford, which he led on Saturday, April 13.
> The Potomac Valley Audubon Society sponsored a bird walk at Snavely's Ford on the Antietam Battlefield this morning. We had 39 species. The highlights of the morning were several Ruby-crowned Kinglets, one of which had its ruby crown in full display, a Carolina Chickadee feeding young in a cavity nest adjacent to the trail, a Blue-headed Vireo, and at the end of the walk, a Palm Warbler in a tree adjacent to the Burnside Bridge parking area.
