I did a little birding today as a break from working at home. Stopped at a few spots along the canal - most of the birds I saw have already been noted. I found a pair of Blue Gray Gnatcatchers buildinga nest along the towpath at Edwards Ferry. I found Vesper Sparrow singing in 2 different spots to last week. There is a pair on Budd Rd, c 16400 area, where there is a big open field to the S of farm buildings. There was also a Grasshopper Sparrow singing. I heard but did not see another Vesper along Hughes Rd, 200 yds north of Sugarland Rd turn.

Good birding
