A quick stop in to the Aquatic Gardens this afternoon produced many species but few highlights. The best birds were a Greater Yellowlegs, at least 4 singing PURPLE FINCHES at the entrance, and a large group of feeding Rough-winged Swallows. No sign of the Marsh Wren, The Lesser Yellowlegs or the Solitary Sandpipers that have been seen lately. The undoubted highlight of the trip were two FIVE-LINKED SKINKS (at least that's what I think they were) along the boardwalk and a ZEBRA SWALLOWTAIL at the entrance.
