Was blown away to see a male summer tanager at my suet feeding this
afternoon. I was litterally trying to second guess myself and make it a
scarlet. Thanks to Bill Hubick for reassuring me that I wasn't crazy. The
SUTA made multiple visits to the feeder until dusk. See the ebird link
below for a photo.
Other notable birds included several lingering purple finches, a continuing
red-breased nuthatch, and a blue-headed vireo.
