I relocated the Red-headed Woodpecker around 4:00 in the second (larger) parking lot at Wilson Point Park. Heidi and DJ met me there, and we also found 2 FOY Yellow Warblers and a completely unexpected ORANGE-CROWNED WARBLER (OCWA) which responded to pishing by flying up to eye level, then up to the top of the tallest tree, where it actively foraged for several minutes. Unlike the Southwest Area Park OCWAs, it did not chip, nor did it respond to playback. It was in the wooded edge between the apartments and the parking lots, near the playground.

What a great spot. 47 species in that little park!
