Raptor Observations:
A small flight once the skies began to clear; two of the eagles were juveniles.

Non-raptor Observations:
About 2:45 pm daylight time, Nancy Magnusson noticed some egret-type birds in the distance. To our amazement, two Sandhill Cranes proceeded to fly into view. They circled the pond several times, but our invitation to drop down for a visit was ignored. They left after about 5 minutes, flying directly north. The Park has one other record, May 29, 1999.
