Subject: [MDBirding] Ovenbird, N. Waterthrush, Gr. Cr. Flycatcher, Red-br. Nuthatch, Roosevelt Island, D.C. 4/25
I enjoyed a nice late morning walk around Theodore Roosevelt Island in the D.C. waters of the Potomac today. Highlights were a Great Crested Flycatcher, Red-breasted Nuthatch, and Ovenbird (all new for my D.C. list), as well as Northern Waterthrush. It was amazing how many Blue-gray Gnatcatchers were on the Island, competing with the White-throated Sparrows and Carolina Wren for most common bird. Complete eBird list below.
