Weather:
Sunny with a few clouds at times; 52-65 degrees; excellent visibility; winds northerly swinging back and forth from an easterly to a westerly component, 0-10 mph, gusting to 21 mph

Raptor Observations:
Vultures and Sharp-shinned Hawks made up the bulk of the flight. A sub-adult Peregrine Falcon tarried, then flew north.

Non-raptor Observations:
Cattle Egret and House Wren, first of the season; 1425 migrant Blue Jays and 81 migrant American Goldfinches. Another day of several hundred swallows, swifts, and martins.

Site Description:
Fort Smallwood Park is located on the western shore of Chesapeake Bay at
the mouth of the Patapsco River, 11 miles south of Baltimore, MD. Best
winds are from the southwest. The Park is closed to visitors on Wednesdays.
