Subject: [MDBirding] Ruby-throat: DC
Hi All,

My wife and I took a late afternoon walk through Glover Park in DC. Unfortunately, most of the trail is down by the stream, and is probably too dark in the late afternoon to be birdy. Nevertheless, we found a Barred Owl being mobbed by a bunch of small birds including a White-eyed Vireo, Ruby-throated Hummingbird, and Great-crested Flycacther (among more common species).

I didn't see any of the breeding Veerys back yet, but they should be any day now!

Good Birding!
