MD Birders:
For anyone heading to Governor's Bridge Park (PG County) from the Anne Arundel County side of the river, Governor's Bridge Road is now blocked on the Anne Arundel side between Patuxent River Road and the Patuxent River.
This is not just a high water closing ... it's closed for an indefinite period due to deteriorating conditions of the crossing. A press release is here ...

The road is closed, full-width, by a pile of gravel, you can not get by it.
FYI, yesterday at Wooten's Landing, a Least Bittern was calling from the back of one of the east ponds. Pine Siskins calling, too.
