Highlights: Excellent views of Bald Eagles from the new observation platform: Pileated Woodpecker flew across the Drive as we approached the blind: Osprey defended it�s nest on the Blackwater River: solitary American White Pelican: and a Bald Eagle nest near the end of the Wildlife Drive with two young eagles flapping and stretching their wings. We watched as an adult Bald Eagle flew in to the nest and seemed to be feeding them.
