Subject: [MDBirding] St. Mary's County Highlights
Birded Pt. Lookout State Park from 9:45 to 1:00pm today. Highlights included 4 LEAST SANDPIPERS and 1 DUNLIN in the wet ditch on the side of the road by the pond at the point. In the area around Ft. Lincoln, notable birds were 1 BLUE-WINGED WARBLER, 2 YELLOW WARBLERS, 1 BLACK-AND-WHITE WARBLER, 1 singing NORTHERN WATERTHRUSH, 1 singing WOOD THRUSH, and 1 female BLUE GROSBEAK.

On Long Neck Rd., from 1:10 to 1:45, there were 3 LEAST SANDPIPERS, 2 SEMIPALMATED PLOVERS, and at least 7, possibly more, BOBOLINKS.
