MAY 5 (Sun) 8:00 a.m. GWYNNS FALLS/LEAKIN PARK. Please join us for a bird walk in Gwynns Falls/Leakin Park; a 1200 acre wilderness park in west Baltimore City. The park contains mature and secondary forest as well as riparian habitats and some limited field habitat. Meet at the parking lot at the corner of Windsor Mill Road and Eagle Drive, (1900 Eagle Drive) Baltimore, MD 21207. There will be a short caravan ride following the trip for those who wish to view the Yellow-crowned Night-Herons on Dead Run. *Directions to Gwynns Falls/Leakin Park. From the Baltimore Beltway, take Rte. 70 south (Exit 16) to where it terminates in the Park & Ride, take an immediate right out of the Park and Ride and continue right onto Security Boulevard; take a right at the first light onto Forest Park, then right at the light onto Windsor Mill Road. The Eagle Drive entrance (flanked by two eagles on pillars) is located on your right. Park in the lot visible from the road.
