Subject: [MDBirding] 5 new birds for yearly (life List)
Hello Everyone,

Got to North Point State Park at 8:30 am. New Birds---- First the Red Headed Woodpecker at the far side of the the land bridge in the Black Marsh. Then while sitting on a driftwood log on the Bay trail with my glasses I followed what I thought was a every day gull. It turned out to be a Least Tern (My friend Frode hipped me to their prescience}. A few hours later in Cromwell Valley park at the far end of the mine creek trail I saw and listened too a Yellow Warbler. Not 10 minutes later I saw an Orchard Oriole and an Ovenbird less 20ft away. All and all I was lucky enough to see 53 birds on a drizzly TUES.

It was a good day for a beginner!!!

BL, Michael
