I saw the Red-throated Loon at KAG today after work (~5:30)

Looking at its behavior and the pictures, I would venture a guess that the loon is not healthy. When I watched it, it did little but sleep, which isn't abnormal in itself, but even when it's head wasn't resting on its back, it looked like it couldn't keep its eyes open and hold up its head (except when it briefly appeared surprised by my presence); some of the pictures show this. Sickness and/or injury would help explain why the bird is late, out of habitat, and also allowing close approach from humans.
